Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundations’s 'Casino Chicago' featuring the 6th Annual Hold'em Poker Tournament generously supported by Horseshoe Casino and Larry Roesch Family Auto Group!
The event is April 24th, 2010 starting at 6pm at the Union Station Great Hall.
Because of the Illinois State gaming laws, all volunteers who will be dealing or handling money at the bank, we will need your name, address, social security number, and date of birth . All information given will be kept confidential and will be gathered via phone or email, This form will not be used to gather this information due to security purposes.

Job Descriptions:
SET-UP:
(10 People)
Please be at the Marriott at 2pm to help set-up event. Set-up includes putting together poker tables, roulette table, black jack tables, craps tables, and silent auction tables
CHIP SORTERS:
(3 people) 2:00-4:30PM
Sort chips in to correct starting amount for each player (will take about two hours)
REGISTRATION:
(12 people) 5:45-7:45PM
Check all guests into event. Will have list of already registered players and are responsible for checking them in and letting them know which table they will be starting at. For all those that have not paid, you are responsible for collecting their payment.
POKER DEALERS:
(40 people) 5:45PM - 12:00AM
Deal Texas Hold'em Poker. You should have some experience in doing this. Only 1 volunteer will need to deal until 2:00 and only 12-15 will need to deal until midnight. All others will need to deal from 5:45 until approximately 9:00PM.
BLACKJACK DEALERS:
(20 People) 5:45PM - 1:00AM

CRAPS ATTENDANTS:
(8 people) 5:45PM - 1:00 AM
Flex shifts available per your availability.
ROULETTE ATTENDANTS:
(8 people) 5:45PM - 1:00 AM
Flex shifts available per your availability.
LIVE AUCTION/BID FOR A CURE:
(15 people) During Live Programs (8:45-9:00PM) & (11:30-midnight)
Volunteers will take 1 Live Auction Board and spot the winner in the crowd. Responsible for taking down all contact information from the winner and collecting payment. There will also be a runner-up bid board. This person will be responsible for getting the contact information for the runner-up bidder.
Volunteers will have bags, pens, and Bid For a Cure sheets. Responsible for handing out sheets and the collection of money/credit card numbers.
AUCTION BOARD PICK-UP & SORT:
(8 people) 11:00-11:30PM
Collect all silent auction boards and take them to volunteer room. Highlight winning bidder last name and sort into alphabetical order. List last names of winners on large sheet of paper to be displayed during redemption.
AUCTION REDEMPTION:
(6 people) 11:30pm until 2:00AM
Volunteer will need calculator, pen, and rubber bands. Volunteer is responsible for taking down all contact information, adding up correct amount owed for auction items, taking money, and supplying auction prize winner with a receipt of sale.
AUCTION RUNNERS:
(6 people) 11:30 until 2:00AM
Responsible for collecting auction prizes for winners after they have paid.
TAKE DOWN:
(30 people)
End of event until approximately 3:00 AM
Responsible for the take down of all event logistics. All games and playing tables must be broken down and taken to trucks. Unclaimed silent auction prizes must be packed up and loaded into CFF truck.
